The Basics

Orbit is a simple tool I built to help me (and hopefully you) track daily spending and stay on budget. By using Orbit, you're agreeing to these simple rules. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.

Your Account

We use Clerk to handle logins. This means I don't see or store your passwords. You're responsible for keeping your login secure. If something feels off with your account, let me know.

Using Orbit

I built Orbit to be helpful. Please use it fairly and don't try to break things or access other people's data.

Orbit is provided as-is. It may have bugs, go down unexpectedly, or change over time. I do my best to keep it running reliably, but I can't guarantee uptime or that it will always behave exactly as expected. Don't make critical financial decisions based solely on what the app shows you.

Not Financial Advice

I'm not a financial advisor. The numbers, calculations, and insights in Orbit are tools to help you stay aware of your spending. They are for your information only and should not be treated as professional financial guidance.

Your Data

The budgets and expenses you log are yours. I store them securely in Supabase so you can access them across devices. I won't sell your data or use it for anything other than making the app work for you. For the full picture, read the Privacy Policy.

Changes

I might update Orbit or these terms from time to time. If I make significant changes, I will update the date at the top of this page and try to notify you by email. I will not quietly rewrite this to say something different.
