Why Orbit?
It's not about optimizing every cent.
It's about not breaking your flow.
Staying in Orbit.
Orbit immediately suggests staying in balance. Things don't crash, spike, or drift wildly, they stay within a path. That maps beautifully to the idea of a lifestyle that fits a budget.
Your app isn't about optimizing money to death. It's about not breaking orbit.
Why I built this.
I tried everything. Open source budgeting tools, expensive subscription apps, complex Excel sheets, you name it.
They all had one thing in common: complexity.
Setting up categories, tagging every transaction, reconciling accounts... it felt like a chore. Everything looked organized on paper, but at the end of the day, I'd still have that sinking feeling: "Ooooh, is this where my money is going?"
I found that simple spreadsheets saved me more money than fancy apps. Why? Because they were simple. But spreadsheets aren't a solution for mobile life.
"I don't want to know where every cent is going. I just want to know that I'm staying within my limits."
So I built Orbit. A simple app that lets me know my daily budget. No infinite features, no category paralysis. Just a clean, simple tool to keep my financial life in rhythm. It doesn't matter where the money goes, as long as it stays in Orbit.
